201.7 million soms allocated for major road repairs in Bishkek’s Leninsky district
The municipal administration of Bishkek City Hall for the Leninsky district announced a tender on March 11 for the major repair of roads worth a total of 201.7 million soms. The information was published on the state procurement portal.
Applications from potential contractors will be accepted until March 25, 2026. According to the tender documentation, major repairs are planned on five large sections of the district’s road network.
The procurement has been divided into five lots. The most expensive project will be the section of Osmonov Street from Gagarin Street to Alybaev Street, with 51.5 million soms allocated for its reconstruction.
The full list of roads included in the major repair plan is as follows:
Osmonov Street, from Gagarin Street to Alybaev Street — 51.5 million soms;
Lushchikhina Street, from Leo Tolstoy Street to M. Lushchikhina Street — 44.2 million soms;
Adyshev Street, from Gagarin Street to Lushchikhina Street — 42.5 million soms;
Urkor Street, from Leo Tolstoy Street to Lushchikhina Street — 35.7 million soms;
Ak-Shookum Street, from Omur Street to Eginaliev Street — 27.9 million soms.
The district administration is using a two-envelope procurement method in an open format. This means the commission will first assess the qualifications of participants and then review their financial bids.
Under the tender terms, the winning contractors must complete all road works within 60 calendar days after the contract is signed. To participate, companies are required to provide bid security in the amount of 2% of their proposed price, while bids must remain valid for at least 60 days.
