Bishkek to close Kalinin Street bridge from February 15, 2026 due to reconstruction works
In Bishkek, the bridge on Kalinin Street will be temporarily closed starting February 15, 2026, due to roadworks and reconstruction, according to the press service of the Patrol Police Service Department.
The agency said the bridge will be reconstructed to widen the carriageway and increase traffic capacity. During the works, the bridge will be fully closed to vehicle traffic.
Patrol police urged drivers to plan routes in advance, use alternative detours, follow traffic rules, and stay alert on the road.
