On February 11, five snow avalanches were recorded on the 93–101 km section of the Ala-Buka–Jany-Bazar–Kirovka highway. As a result, traffic for all types of vehicles was temporarily restricted.

According to the Ministry of Transport, specialists are currently уточняют (verifying) the volume of snow that came down. Four loaders from the company “Zhalgalmai” were dispatched to carry out clearing works and reopen the road.

The temporary restriction was introduced by the Akim of Chatkal district due to adverse weather conditions. The road will remain closed until weather conditions fully stabilize and the consequences are cleared.
