The Bishkek City Hall has announced that on June 2, 2025, after the completion of repair work three weeks ahead of schedule, the section of Chui Avenue from Lermontov Street to Kurmanzhan Datka Street on the north side of the road will be opened to traffic.

The City Hall notes that all restoration work is being carried out ahead of schedule.

“The Bishkek City Administration asks residents and visitors to the capital to be understanding of the possible temporary inconveniences associated with road works. To minimize traffic congestion, city residents are advised to plan their routes in advance and use public transport whenever possible,” the mayor's office said.
